NEW UFC FIGHT NIGHT BOUTS REVEALED INCLUDING RETURN OF KEVIN HOLLAND

A couple new bouts have been reserved for upcoming UFC Fight Night cards. Below are the bouts, together with my first thoughts on them.
UFC Fight Night 152 vs. Charles Jourdain, desmond Green Desmond Green has gotten his wish. The lightweight will contend in his hometown of Rochester, New York when he meets beginner Charles Jourdain at UFC Fight Night 152, occurring May 18 at Blue Cross Arena. RDS broke the news.
Green (22-8) is only 3-3 overall from the UFC but is coming off of possibly the biggest win of his career, a first-round TKO win over Ross Pearson which delivered the British veteran packaging into retirement. Green said he wanted to fight in Rochester so awful he would struggle at no cost, and he will get his wish, only he will get paid when he chooses on Jourdain, who’s making his UFC debut. Jourdain (9-1) has been the lightweight champion from the TKO promotion in Quebec and is coming off of four straight finishes. Just 23 years old,»Air» Jourdain is one of the best prospects in 155lbs and this is a superb signing for the UFC.
Having said this, Jourdain will be facing a difficult competitor here in Green, who has shown he can grind his opponents out and also knock him out. I would give the edge to green according to his UFC encounter, though Jourdain could be a live dog.
Devin Clark vs. Darko Stosic, UFC Fight Night 153
After his light heavyweight matchup against Ivan Shtyrkov at last weekend’s UFC St. Petersburg event was scrapped last minute, Devin Clark has been quickly rebooked and he’ll fight high prospect Darko Stosic at UFC Fight Night 153, occurring June 1 in Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. Clark himself broke the news via Instagram.
Clark (9-3) is 3-3 in the UFC and is coming from a TKO loss to Aleksandar Rakic. Overall he’s been a disappointment from the UFC and it seems like that the matchmakers are down . Stosic (13-3) is among the top prospects in 205lbs and picked up a vicious TKO win over Jeremy Kimball in his UFC debut up his win streak to eight straight fights.
It sure looks like the UFC is using Clark as a gatekeeper at this point of his profession, and Stosic ought to be a hefty favorite to get the win in this struggle.
Kevin Holland vs. Alessio Di Chirico, UFC Fight Night 154
Middleweights Kevin Holland and Alessio Di Chirico are set to battle at UFC Fight Night 154, which takes place June 22 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Sherdog broke the information.
Holland (14-4) is currently 1-2 at the UFC after being signed following a successful stint on the Contender Series. After dropping a choice to Thiago Santos in his UFC debut, he has picked up back-to-back wins over Gerald Meerschaert and John Phillips. Di Chirico (12-2) is 3-2 in the UFC and is coming from back-to-back wins over Oluwale Bamgbose and Julian Marquez.
This should be a very competitive struggle, and while I really do expect Holland to be favored, Di Chirico is a solid fighter and should not be counted out of the one.

Star Catcher rounded her campaign off with victory from the Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes.

John Gosdens filly was a maiden at the onset of the year, with finished sixth on her only juvenile beginning in Chelmsford.
But a good case can now be created for her being the best middle-distance filly of her creation after adding this Group One prize to her sooner big-race wins this year at the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot, the Irish Oaks at the Curragh and the Prix Vermeille at Paris.
Together with Frankie Dettori in the saddle, the daughter of Sea The Stars was the preferred to offer her Anthony Oppenheimer.

Shes lovely, shes hard – I think shes staying in practice, using a bit of chance, and she is a terrific filly.
Shes provided me with my 250th Group One and 18th this season, so I adore her.

Cleveland Browns welcome Tennessee Titans for opener

Our NFL Sunday of This season Starts with the Cleveland Browns hosting the Tennessee Titans live on Sky Sports Action and Main Event.

Here is exactly what to expect…
Even the Browns (7-8-1 last year ) have been the talk of the league that this offseason. Yes, they had their best season since 2007 last year, however they nevertheless didn’t make the match, and they haven’t created it . Their drought is the longest in the group, and they have not won a postseason matchup for 21 seasons!
Having said that, they’re no joke. Equipped with two recent No 1 overall NFL Draft choices on offense and defense (Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett) and now stocked with attacking ability, Cleveland could eventually make some noise in December and January.
Tennesee (9-7), meanwhile, are the model of mediocrity in the previous 3 seasons, having achieved a 9-7 record in each. They handled Wild Card win in 2017 but dropped out at 2016 and year although a.
They do not have big names on crime, or a’celebrity’ quarterback like Mayfield, but they are a aggressive group under head coach Mike Vrabel. Just how far they go is dependent on what they are able to get from QB Marcus Mariota, who retreated as many touchdowns in his past two seasons (26) as he did at the one before. Can he step up and move this group?
We want to eventually view Odell Beckham Jr about the field in the New York Giants following his blockbuster trade before this summer. During his first five seasons, Beckham has averaged 92.8 yards per game – which is next one time supporting Julio Jones (96.7) – and handled 44 touchdowns in 56 starts. Assuming he is fully healthy, he is the player to see this Sunday.
Tennesee don’t have many players who steal the spotlight as mentioned previously, of running back Derrick Henry, however much is expected. 1,000 cracked rushing yards last season, but 238 of these came in one run in 1 game and 99! His participation will be enormous to the Titans this year, especially as Mariota requires assistance.
Keep a close watch on pass-rusher Harold Landry. Even the 2018 second-round draft selection managed 4.5 sacks last season in limited action, but will be the focus of the group’s pressure this year.
Earlier this week, Mayfield informed Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer:»I have full confidence in all our playmakers, our skill rank guys that should they’ve one-on-ones, they should be licking their agendas and they must take that as apology because that’s the kind of team we have and we will need to take advantage of.
«It is going to resemble a great deal of matchups that we can make the most ofa numbers game»
The fighting conversation is definitely not a surprise coming from the trash-talking QB – the Browns’ outside weapons compared to the Titans’ secondary will be a massive factor in the game – however, it is certainly not likely to be a cakewalk for Beckham, Jarvis Landry, tight end David Njoku and third wide receiver Rashard Higgins.
Tennessee boast that the 2017 interception leader Kevin Byard, the man who left the most memorable interception in Super Bowl history (Malcolm Butler), and another two-time Super Bowl champ in Logan Ryan.
It may not be easy for both business and Mayfield although it will be hard for everyone to account for many the offensive resources of Cleveland this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tennessee Titans: Preseason Free NFL Pick

Share:

Week 3 of the 2019 NFL preseason favored Tennessee Titans in Nashville and comes to an end on Sunday night.
Steelers (2-0) at Titans (1-1)
Sunday, 8 pm ET (NBC)
Free NFL Pick: Titans ATS
Recommended Sportsbook: Bovada
We are all used to viewing NFL action on Sundays? Well, one Sunday match in Week 3 of the preseason and it’s going to be the final afternoon of Sunday NFL until Week 1 of the regular season. That is because all groups play on Thursday in Week 4. The Pittsburgh Steelers go to the Tennessee Titans to shut 3.
Both just missed the playoffs and ended with nine wins last regular season. The Titans could have promised a Wild-Card spot if they’d won Week 17 at home vs. Indianapolis, but the Colts were clearly superior and rolled to a 33-17 victory. Starting Titans QB Marcus Mariota missed the game hurt and Blaine Gabbert was awful in his location.
Pittsburgh had a Week 17 win over Cincinnati and also a Baltimore home loss to Cleveland to accept the AFC North. Pittsburgh did its job with a victory — without star receiver Antonio Brown in his final act of defiance using the franchise. The Ravens did not cooperate with a 26-24 win over the Browns.
Despite not enjoying beginning QB Ben Roethlisberger steelers coach Mike Tomlin is 2-0 this year and a really solid 30-22 in his preseason career. The Steelers played their first two edging Tampa Bay 30-28 in Week 1 last week, and then beating Kansas City 17-7. Going by the history of Tomlin, Big Ben ought to play with a bit on Sunday. Mason Rudolph and joshua Dobbs are currently competing for the project, with most.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel is 1-1 this season — Tennessee has yet to win a home exhibition game. The Titans lost 22-17 at home to New England but led all the game and subsequently were first Week 1 winners in Philadelphia 27-10. A TD pass won it to the Pats. Mariota and the Titans first-team crime has played four series so far for Vrabel but could the whole first half of the one.
Leading running back Derrick Henry has yet to play in the preseason due to a calf injury but did return to practice. If this means that he could go in this , not clear. No. 1 tight end Delanie Walker broke his arm in Week 1 last year and had not played until last week vs. the Patriots. He caught a TD pass from Mariota. The Titans’ offense just isn’t the same with Walker, the greatest tight end in business history. Meanwhile, Mariota’s backup Ryan Tannehill was great this preseason using a 130.8 passer rating, completing 19 of 27 for 214 yards. Some think he can steal the job at some point this year from Mariota.
These groups played Pittsburgh but although in Week 3, in addition at the 2018 preseason. The Steelers won 16-6. Big Ben, which makes his preseason debut of’18, was 11-for-18 for 114 yards and a touchdown. Mariota was 5-for-8 for 43 yards and a pick and didn’t play with a lot. He overlooked for that which could have been a touchdown on the opening drive of Tennessee, wide-open Corey Davis.
We’ll take the Titans here simply as I’m sure they’d like to end that home preseason losing streak.
